Some worried parents claim they've been physically and verbally abused by the snappers, and one alleges her four-year-old was almost run over byan over-eager lensman.Now, Santa Monica City Council member Richard Bloom is leading a chargeto create school buffer zones, where the paparazzi cannot stand.
Bloom, an attorney, tells the Los Angeles Times, "If this were an isolated thing that had happened once or twice, I wouldn't be spending my timeon it".
The councilor admits he has spoken with Garner and Affleck about their concerns "They expressed to me that they understand this is a part of their lives that they have to accept, but it's not something that other people should have to experience".
Bloom joins Los Angeles City Council member Dennis Zine among those leaders trying to restrict paparazzi access in Tinseltown.Zine has spent the past 18 months pushing measures to create buffer zones throughout Hollywood.
