DJ AM Dies at Age 36

DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, American Club Disc Jockey was found dead in his apartment in New York City at 5:20PM on Friday (August 28). I know he was only 36 years old.

According to TMZ , DJ AM hadn’t been seen for a number of days and was only found when a friend went to go check on him.

DJ AM and Travis Barker both survived a plane crash last September 2008 in South Carolina where four other people in the plane died.

Known For: DJ AM was a former member of the rock band Crazy Two , and has scratched on albums for Papa Roch , Madonna , and Will Smith , among others. He collaborated with Travis Barker of Blink-182 at the 2008 MTV music awards , and has appeared in several television series. Goldstein's former fiancée was Nicole Ritchie. I am sure everyone is sadended by this loss.
